Lynwood Unified Opens Enrollment for 2026-27 School Year

Lynwood Unified School District has officially opened enrollment for the 2026-27 school year, welcoming families with students entering Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade to explore the District’s high-quality academic programs, enrichment opportunities and supportive school communities.

Starting Monday, February 2, families living in Lynwood and surrounding communities can enroll and take the first step toward an educational experience that supports students academically, socially and emotionally from their earliest years through graduation and beyond.

 “When families enroll in Lynwood Unified, they are choosing a District that is committed to academic excellence, innovation and supporting the whole child,” Superintendent Patrick Gittisriboongul, Ed.D., said. “We invite families to enroll in Lynwood Unified and see firsthand how our programs prepare students for college, careers and lifelong success.”

From a strong early learning foundation in TK to college- and career-ready pathways in high school, Lynwood Unified offers programs designed to meet students where they are and help them thrive. Families can choose from innovative offerings such as Dual Language Immersion; Career Technical Education pathways in biomedical sciences, engineering, culinary arts and more; Dual Enrollment with Compton College, visual and performing arts; award-winning athletics; and expanded learning through the District’s enrichment program, LevelUp Lynwood.

All Lynwood Unified schools are also Community Schools, connecting families to wellness services, educational workshops, and community resources that help students succeed academically and socially.
