ABOUT DLI
DLI is a unique educational model in which students learn to read, write and communicate in English and Spanish while developing linguistic and academic competencies in multiple subjects in both languages.
Beginning in TK/Kindergarten, native Spanish speakers and native English-speaking students learn together, growing year after year through sixth grade to be biliterate in both languages. The goal is for students to earn the Seal of Biliteracy on their diploma and be better prepared for the 21st century.
The program has been offered at Will Rogers Elementary School since 2014. Click here to learn more about the unique educational model.
